I've served families, individuals and couples in the Columbia area for nearly 25 years. I bring with me the clinical and case management skills of working privately, in treatment centers and in the state's DJJ system. If you have a troubled youth, are experiencing personal psychiatric or adjustment issues or are trying to keep your marriage together, you've come to the right person.

My focus is supportive psychotherapy, behavior modification and case management services. Since most of my clients are children or adolescents who are experiencing issues at home or school, I will involve the entire family, as well as anyone else working with the family like doctors, teachers and parole or probational officers.

Therapy
Depression & Anxiety
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. I make it a point to work with the patient as well as his/her physician (if desired) to help you monitor medications you may be taking and relay their reactions to your doctor
Trauma
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationships
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to families and couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connections in all stages of life. My therapy sessions provide a supportive environment to discuss issues and solutions to strengthen relationships and reduce conflict between couples, parents and children.
